Maybe not as dynamic as this gas at first, but to add the Necris nightshade velocity effect to a weapon when falling either from a airvehicle befor its destroyed or just jumping off of high areas.
Since there are no temporary force fields for the airvehicles, this would be a good way to save your ass if you decide to make the jump.
The gun isn't that mechanical like most of the weapons for UT3 so alot of detail is a must for firstperson view.
I'm using fraps to take some screenshots of the gun to model to give it that genuine FF feel 8) But if anyone knows of a good screencapturing app it would help. Fraps isnt taking everyshot when I press the button :evil:

WIP a few hours into it. Proportions are still off a bit. A few more hours of tweaking after work should be something to look at :-P

Burp.... and fart, decided to model the character while learning ut3's new art pipeline thats becoming a pain the in lower left :shock:

I think it looks great. I hope you are going to release the character model when you are finished. I would love to have a character model that is branded with the Gneu g. Skinning is going to be fun!
