Software Developer Experience?

Has anyone got any experience developing software that they would like to note? I am trying to figure out the time and energy that its going to take to map out all my projects and get them moving so I can relax come December or January. Currently everything is just snowballing and becoming very difficult to balance and or change without pushing off other plans. I guess this all comes back to my all too common problem of finding someone to work with.
