Setting up an IRC account on Quakenet

In order to get everyone op status in the channel on irc.quakenet.org, we all need to register our nicknames:

/msg Q hello whitfieldemail@gmail.com whitfieldemail@gmail.com

You will receive an email with instructions. Once you have your password, you can change it with the following command:

/msg Q@CServe.quakenet.org NEWPASS [old password] [new password] [new password]


Cool? cool.

Edit: We can also reply here with our user names so whoever has OP status can add you.

Registration of username/password done.
Using chatzilla under Firefox.
Haven't had any trouble with it in the past, so I assume I'm good to go.
